Jordan’s government to serve citizens, national interests

(MENAFN) According to Jordan News Agency, Petra, Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani had announced on Thursday that the government is determined to take decisions that serve citizens and national interests.

During an interview, the government spokesperson said the most recent measures, namely the extension of property fee exemptions, and the slashing of vehicle ownership transfer fees.

Furthermore, the 2017 budget was drafted to lead to a jump in growth rates by allocating JD1.3b as investment spending, Momani said, adding that the budget responds to the current economic situation brought on by regional unrest, which has caused a slowdown in tourism, transport and trade.
