Jordan’s trade balance deficit drops by 8.6pct

(MENAFN) Jordan’s trade balance deficit dropped 8.6 percent amid the Jan-Nov period of last year.

Accordingly, the value of national export amid the period amounted to JD9.3bn, down by 6.9 percent compared with the same period in 2015.

In addition, the imports for the same period declined by 7 percent to reach JD12.44bn.

Moreover, the value of national exports of clothes and related accessories grew 2.6 percent; pharmaceutical products at 16.9 percent.
