(MENAFN) The sum of trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Egypt has showed a powerful increase in the last decade from 2003-2014, reaching USD31.3 billion, Arab News reported.
Al Eqtisadiyah, which reported the increase, said that the Saudi Arabia dominated the trading between the two countries with 39 percent in the above period and amounting to USD12.3 billion.
Last year, the trade exchange between the two countries was set at USD5.3 billion with Saudi exporting to Egypt around USD3.2 billion and importing from Egypt at USD2.1 billion.
In the January-May period of this year, Saudi Arabia has been on the top of the list of countries exporting from Egypt, with total imports reaching USD900 million.
