KSA expects 6 percent salary increase next year

(MENAFN) Aon Hewitt, in its Global Salary Increase Survey 2013, said that Saudi companies are expecting a 6 percent salary increase next year as the country’s economy looks good, Saudi Gazette reported.

“Our latest predictions indicate that organizations in Saudi Arabia are increasingly confident in the Kingdom’s economy and are optimistic about future growth,” Said Robert Richter, Compensation Survey Manager at Aon Hewitt Middle East.

The forecast comes as the Kingdom’s economy is expected to remain stable with a 5.3 percent growth for this year.

Salary increase in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is expected to increase by an average of 5.5 percent.
