KSA paves path for clean energy’s roadmap

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia has shown a serious commitment to handle with the climate change by applying and seeing through a group of mitigation and adaptation measures.

Accordingly, the country seems to have a complete and sophisticated carbon management roadmap, recognizing that technology is the answer to most climate challenges.

The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) has been launched to take on the role of creating awareness among kingdom’s population and to encourage an energy efficient life style.

“The Kingdom is committed to the improvement of energy efficiency; the use of solar and wind energy and the promotion of research in the field of clean energy,” said the Petroleum minister.
