(MENAFN) Saudi and UAE consumers spent USD 6.85bn on beauty and personal care products last year, while spending in the two nations set to rise 8 percent in 2016 to USD 7.4bn.
Moreover, the retail value of the beauty and personal care market in KSA was USD 5.21bn last year, while in the UAE shoppers spent USD 1.64bn on beauty products.
In addition, the two nations joined comprise a quarter of the whole Middle East and African beauty and personal market, which had a retail value of USD 27.1bn in 2015.
This comes as the Middle East and Africa overtakes Latin America as the world’s fastest growing beauty and personal care market with estimated value at 4.8 percent.
