(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco will demonstrate its industry leadership in greenhouse gases (GHG) management, including energy efficiency and carbon capture and storage (CCS).
Additionally, it wants to tackle climate change with technology, and it makes it very clear than this can only happen with collaborating and cooperating with global organizations.
As part of its long-term focus on addressing climate change with technology-enabled solutions, Saudi Aramco has reduced its CO2 footprint six-fold over the last four decades.
“The key to unlocking the full potential of CCS is advancing technology that will turn it into a more viable option. To complement our existing energy efficiency programs,” said Aramco’s CEO.
