Kuwait Airways buys 25 planes from Airbus

(MENAFN) Kuwait Airways has signed deals with Airbus for its first order of new aircraft in over 20 years, according to Arab News.

Under the deal, Kuwait Airways will buy 25 new planes from France-based Airbus, including 15 A320neo and 10 A350-900 aircraft, and is expected to buy another 10 new planes.

Airbus is expected to deliver the order in 2019.

The value of the deals was not announced but local media reported it was at USD4.0 billion.
