Kuwait Airways delays purchasing 25 aircrafts from Airbus

10 Sep 2013

(MENAFN) Kuwait Airways’ plan to lease aircrafts instead of buying 25 new ones from Airbus, according to Saudi Gazette.

Kuwait Airways struck a deal with Airbus to buy 15 A320neo narrow-body jets and 10 new A350-900 XWB last May, in addition to leasing 22 of Airbus’s jets.

The two agreement parts planned to separate purchasing the aircrafts from leasing them and only work on the subsequent part of the agreement beginning from April 2014.
