Kuwait- Al Salam Holding awarded USD7.3m refinery contract

(MENAFN) Al Salam Group Holding announced that it has been awarded a contract from Kuwait National Petroleum Co. (KNPC) to provide maintenance services for a refinery, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Al Salam said that the USD7.3 million contract, which has not been inked yet and which covers a period of 4 years, also includes the marketing of local products.
The company that was established in 1997 said that operations will start in June, according to the contract.
Al Salam noted that operations related to the contract would contribute to the company’s financial performance in the second quarter of this year, in addition to the coming three and a half years.
