(MENAFN) The Korea National Oil Corporation stated that the country imported 14.06 million barrels of crude oil from Kuwait last month, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The company said that the amount, which represented a growth of 74.4 percent from a year ago, accounted for 17.5 percent of the country’s total crude oil imports in the month.
Kuwait increased its oil exports to South Korea in the first 11 months of the year by 19.2 percent to 124.13 million barrels.
On the other hand, South Korea’s crude imports from Saudi Arabia jumped 13.7 percent from a year ago to 856,000 bpd, whereas imports from Qatar grew 35.6 percent to 276,000 bpd.
It is worth noting that South Korea’s total crude oil imports gained 9.5 percent in November on the year to 80.21 million barrels.
