(MENAFN) Kuwait’s oil exports to Japan registered a 10.2 percent growth to 9.43 million barrels last month from a year earlier, the state news agency KUNA reported.
The Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency said that Kuwait oil exports accounted for 8.8 percent of Japan’s overall crude imports in November, compared with 7.0 percent a year earlier.
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said in October that crude shipments to Japan steadily account for 20 percent of Kuwait’s total oil revenue.
Shipments from the Middle East accounted for 88.7 percent of the total, up 2.5 percentage points from the year before.
