(MENAFN) Kuwaiti Ambassador to Serbia, Fawzi Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Jasem, stated that the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development has granted Serbia a USD32.5 million loan, reported Arabian Business citing Tanjug newspaper.
The loan would be used to construct the Prokop railway station in the country’s capital Belgrade.
Officials at the fund noted that the fund could provide other loans for the third and fourth phase of the project, in case Belgrade needs them.
It is worth noting that in late November or early December, a delegation from Kuwait would visit Serbia to ink a second loan deal.
