Kuwait launched 1-month refinery revamp
10 Feb 2015
(MENAFN) Kuwait had started a redevelopment process of its biggest refinery, the overhaul of the 442,000 barrels per day plant is set to last for a month, Gulf Daily News reported.
The processing facilities of the plant are being renovated, yet the total crude processing capacities will not be affected by the breakdown of the downstream units, spokesman said.
Because of the refinery work, a shortfall in petrol products was projected, but “cargoes would be scheduled to bridge any shortfall in production during this period,” he added.
