Kuwait logs 3.2 percent of inflation over Oct

(MENAFN) Kuwait’s inflation rate in consumer prices climbed from 3.1 percent y-o-y in Sept to 3.2 percent in October, according to the latest reports.

Accordingly, core inflation excluding food items also witnessed a margin growth, increasing from 2.8 percent in Sept to 2.9 percent y-o-y in October.

However, Inflation in domestic food prices reduced slightly from 4.4% percent y-o-y in Sept to 4.3 percent in Oct, as global food prices continued to drop.

Inflation in the other goods & services sector also kept its plunging trend in October, given that a bulk of the items in this component is imported.
