Kuwait to start GCC rail project by 2017

(MENAFN) Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects will start bidding on its railway network in the first half of the coming year and will execute the project with other GCC States.

Additionally, the project covers a railway network, which will run from Kuwait City to the airport and marine ports as well as link Kuwait with other GCC states.

Moreover, the project is being developed as part of the Kuwait National Rail Road System.

Meanwhile, one of the country’s key infrastructure development initiatives will serve freight and passengers and will have 120 km per hour regional lines speed.
