(MENAFN) Kuwaiti logistics firm Agility reported a 21 percent increase in quarterly profit, on higher revenue from its operations, Reuters reported.
The company said it made USD34.4 million net profit during the third quarter, up from USD28.5 million a year earlier.
The company also reported a 4 percent increase in its revenue from core commercial logistics business revenue, Global Integrated Logistics (GIL), year-on-year.
Agility said revenue from its Infrastructure group, a portfolio of investments in niche markets, grew to USD236.6 million from USD151 million a year ago.
The results included Agility’s new acquisition of UPAC, which was sealed in the period.
The UPAC manages real estate at Kuwait International Airport and provides ground handling, maintenance and facilities maintenance services for the private terminal at the airport. UPAC also provides facilities management services at a leading shopping mall in Kuwait.
