(MENAFN) Kuwaiti billionaire Al Kharafi family is seeking to sell one of the Middle East’s largest food companies, Americana, Arabian Business reported.
Sources familiar with the matter said that bankers has been hired to explore a deal.
No formal process is currently underway, but the family is working with an investment bank to approach possible buyers.
The Kharafi family holds 66.8 percent of Kuwait Food Company, which sells goods under the brand name Americana.
