(MENAFN) Kuwait Projects Company (Kipco) unveiled plans to form a “strategic partnership” with Japan’s Orix Corporation and that the companies were mulling a joint project in Algeria, Reuters reported.
Orix offers leasing, lending, rentals, life insurance, real estate financing and development, venture capital, investment and retail banking, commodities funds and securities brokering.
The two companies will study the feasibility of a joint venture to set up a leasing company in Algeria, the largest investment company in Kuwait said in a statement.
Kipco has significant ownership interests in a portfolio of over 70 companies operating across 26 countries.
