(MENAFN) Ooredoo Kuwait (NMTC) posted lower gross profits of USD92.6 million in the nine months to September as opposed to USD 158.7 million for last year’s same period, as reports showed.
However, the tech company and its affiliates in Algeria, Palestine, Maldives, Tunisia and Oman have delivered strong performance in the July-Sep period marking growth in income.
Meanwhile, the number of customers reached 23.9 million as of the three months ended September, reflecting a rise of 7.5 percent compared to last year’s corresponding timeframe.
Ooredoo’s customer base in Kuwait was 2.4 million at the end of July-Sept, a decline of 1.5 percent on the same period in 2014, but its revenues for the cited period grew 11 percent to USD460 million.
