Kuwait’s trade with Japan to decline by 67.7 percent

(MENAFN) Kuwait’s trade surplus with Japan fell by 67.7 percent from a year earlier to USD235mn in May.

Moreover, Kuwait’s whole exports to Japan tumbled 57.1 percent to USD351mn for the 12th straight monthly drop.

Additionally, Middle East’s trade surplus with Japan narrowed 38.5 percent to USD3.0bn last month, with Japan-bound exports plunging 30.7 percent.

On the other hand, total exports declined 11.3 percent from the year before, and imports also dropped by 13.8 percent.
