(MENAFN) Lafarge Cement Jordan sales declined by 15 percent in the Jan-Sep period of this year.
The decline was attributed to low demand in the regional and proclaimed that the firm incurred an increase of JD1.2mn in environmental lawsuits expenses.
In addition, there was also a drop in average prices of 3 percent due to low demand and competition pressure.
Moreover, the firm did not record any deferred taxes for this year compared to a recorded amount of JD5.5mn in 2015.
