(MENAFN) Link Global’s Director, Arun Mehra, announced that the developer will start establishing the USD1-billion Taj Arabia in Dubai’s FalconCity this June, reported Gulf News.

Mehra added that the replica of India’s Taj Mahal will comprise 400 rooms and will overlook a retail area specializing in gold and wedding outfits, noting that hundreds of requests have been received from jewelers and other retailers to rent space in the retail development.

He added that the 5-star-hotel will be managed by Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, an Indian-based hotel operator, and will be the first wonder of the world replica to be set up in the Falconcity of Wonders (FCW).

It is worth noting that the project will also contain the Moghul Gardens, a retail area specializing in wedding requirements, a wedding hall, in addition to two service apartment buildings for wedding guests.
