ME airlines post 8.6% cargo growth last month

30 May 2013

(MENAFN) The International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported that Middle East airlines witnessed a freight business expansion of 8.6 percent in April, reported Arabian Business.

Since the begging of this year, the growth rate reached 11.2 percent.

IATA also said that growth will expand in the coming future by opening new routes to developing economies.

It’s worth noting that this boost helped balancing the 2.6 percent decline recorded in March.
