ME may require USD550 b worth of planes in next 20 years

(MENAFN) Boeing said that Middle Eastern carriers will need over 2,500 new airplanes at a cost of USD550 billon in the next two decades, The Peninsula reported.

The US-based aircaft manufacturerIt said that around 900 of the projected figure will be to replace old planes currently in use.

Vice President of Marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes said: “International traffic growth in the Middle East continues to outpace the rest of the world.”
