(MENAFN) Middle East carriers recorded an 11.7 percent growth in passenger traffic in November, according to the latest data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Gulf News reported.
It was the fourth consecutive month of double-digit year-over-year growth for the region. Capacity among ME carriers rose 13.9 percent, while load factor dropped 1.4 percent to 70.1 percent.
“November demand was healthy, but the overall picture is mixed,” IATA’s director general and chief executive said in a statement.
