(MENAFN) According to the trade association InfoComm International, the Middle East and Africa’s audiovisual market, is expected to reach USD4.63 billion by 2016, Saudi Gazette reported.
Led by large infrastructure developments like the Word Expo 2020 in Dubai and 2022 FIFA world Cup in Qatar, the audiovisual market in MEA is predicted to reach USD4.63 billion by 2016, compared to USD2.79 billion in 2012.
In the UAE, the audiovisual market is expected to grow from USD700 million in 2012, reaching USD1.24 billion in 2016, thus making it the fastest growing market in the Middle East as well as the second largest in the region too.
“Boosted by Dubai, the Middle East and Africa region offers strong audiovisual market potential, thanks to strong investment, a young online population, and a low penetration of audiovisual adoption,” the Executive Director of InfoComm Asia said.
