(MENAFN) The region of the Middle East and North Africa remains to be one of the most responsive markets for private jets despite economic instability, reported the Daily Star.
The Embraer executive jets division head, Ernest Edwards, said that although the MENA demand for jets has gone down this past year, it is picking up and shows signs of major growth.
The Brazilian aircraft maker, Embraer said that emphasis in engineering and the use of innovative technology propelled them into the private jet market of the MENA region.
Embraer’s total aircraft value is currently exceeding USD1.2 billion according to Edwards.
The UAE and Saudi Arabia are still consistently the biggest purchasers of private jets in the region.
