(MENAFN) Deloitte’s Arab Media Outlook report for 2011 to 2015, revealed that over the coming three years, digital advertising spend in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region will rise by 35 percent annually, reported Gulf News.
The report showed that digital advertising comprises nearly 4 percent of total advertising expenditure in the region.
It also unveiled that digital advertising is forecasted to become the fastest growing media platform in MENA.
According to the report, over the coming 3 years, digital advertising will generate about USD580 million.
It also emphasized on the importance of higher internet penetration and inward investments to make certain technologies, including broadband and proxies, more available, in order to benefit the most from new devices, such as smart TV’s.
