MENA’s outbound travel spending to reach USD110b by 2025

(MENAFN) By 2025, annual spending on global cross-bound travel will reach USD1.5tr from USD1.1tr currently.

Accordingly, there are 3 key global trends that will shape the industry: a new travelling class, increasing digital connectivity and an ageing population.

However, more than 37mn MENA households will drop into this category by 2025, with more than 40 percent of this new travelling class.

On the other hand, the region will see the number of annual outbound trips grow from 43mn in 2016 to 65mn by 2025.
