(MENAFN) Mercedes-Benz Middle East & Levant has recorded its best monthly sales performance in May, Arabian Business reported.
Bahrain was on top of luxury carmaker’s sales list with 85 percent increase, followed by Oman with 44 percent, Saudi Arabia with 31 percent, Kuwait with 27 percent, Abu Dhabi and Dubai with 19 percent and 13 percent respectively.
Mercedes also posted a 49 percent sales increase for the first five months of the year compared to the same period a year earlier.
The company’s figures showed that the March-launched M-Class sales grew by 56 percent, while S-Class GL sales rose by 34 percent.
Mercedes-AMG performance division year to date sales were up by 28 percent compared to last year.
Mercedes-Benz saloon vehicles performed well too, with the new generation C-Class up 19 percent, and the E-Class up 20 percent.
