Mideast carriers’s profits to post 14 percent grow

(MENAFN) Middle East carriers, involving Qatar Airways, Emirates and Etihad Airways, are predcited to record a combined USD 1.6bn profit in 2016.

Moreover, the capacity of Middle East airlines is also predicted to increase at 12.2 percent, outpacing 11.2 percent expansion of demand.

In addition, global air transport industry profits upwards to USD 39.4bn this year from USD 36.3bn in Dec 2015.

Last year airlines produced a global aggregate profit of USD 35.3bn, re-stated from USD 33bn in December 2015.
