Midyan gas field expected to produce 75 mcf per day

(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco’s chief executive said that the Midyan gas field project in the Red Sea is projected to produce 75 million cubic feet (mcf) of gas per day.

The company is seeking to increase its gas production in order to meet the rising demand in the Kingdom.

Khalid Al-Falih said that the gas produced from the Midyan field is to be transferred to the Duba province to supply new power stations planned to be constructed by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and Aramco.
