Morocco invests USD13.5 b in power generation

(MENAFN) Newspapers reported that Morocco plans an investment of USD13.5 billion to generate power and cover the country’s power demand, according to the Peninsula Qatar.
Morocco is looking to become one of the world’s first producers of green energy and invest in solar power projects.
Spending on electricity generation will cost about USD16 billion to reach 4.584.5 megawatts over the following four years, the country expects.
