Morocco’s car exports to hit high USD10b in 5 years

09 Nov 2015

(MENAFN) Morocco projects car industry outbound shipments to hit an annual USD10.2 billion by the year 2020, based on the latest reports.

This positive surge is mainly attributed to PSA Peugeot Citroen beginning production at its all-new USD630 million factory in the country.

It’s expected to raise total industrial component of GDP to 20percentr, let alone that the plant will mean others may come to produce too.

Morocco’s auto industry has already exceeded traditional Moroccan exports like agriculture and phosphates, with its exports hitting USD3.5 billion at Sep-end.
