Morocco’s net international reserves grow by 3.5pct

(MENAFN) Moroccan net international reserves reached MAD248.2bn in April this year, posting a 3.5 percent year on year increase, as proclaimed Bank Al-Maghrib.

Additionally, reserves grew by 0.4 percent on a weekly basis, while the whole amount of Bank Al-Maghrib’s interventions reached MAD18.5bn.

Additionally, the bank posted 2.27 percent stagnation, compared with the previous week, whereas the volume of trade showed an increase from MAD3.8bn to MAD4.1bn.

However, values of the banks and pharmaceuticals indices fell by 0.4 percent and 2.3 percent, respectively, whereas transactions reached MAD402.2mn, MAD336.6mn.
