(MENAFN) Nakheel, the UAE developer, stated that at the start of next year, it will grant construction contracts for around 400 Legacy Villas at Jumeirah Park, reported Arabian Business.
Nakheel said that at the current time, it is evaluating tenders, with construction works due to start in February.
It added that the luxury 4- and 5-bedroom villas are scheduled for completion in 2014’s final quarter.
The Dubai-based firm said that 545 villas have been finished so far, and over USD326 million worth of Legacy Villas have been sold.
Nakheel’s Jumeirah Park community spans 350 hectares and will have 2,000 homes when completed.
It is worth noting that the company had fully leased all 10,600 sq m of available space at Jumeirah Park Community Center, with almost 30 retailers and restaurants confirmed for the new shopping center.
