02 Nov 2013

(MENAFN) Dubai-based Nakheel signed the Union Coop supermarket as the anchor tenant at a new, 79,000 square feet community centre at International City. Arabian Business reported.

Nakheel said in a statement that Union Coop will own 40 percent of the mall set to include 24 shops, four restaurants and two coffee shops.

The mall is due for completion in 2015 serving tens of thousands of residents at International City, in addition to people living at nearby Warsan Village.

A spokesman for Nakheel said: “Our new International City retail centre is a prime example of how we continue to enhance and improve our communities with facilities that people want – and need.”
