New oil discovery in Egypt made by Kuwait Energy

(MENAFN) An oil discovery was reported by Kuwait Energy at El Salmiya-2 well, located in Abu Sennan concession in the Western Desert, Egypt, according to Arab News.
Kuwait Energy is one of the fastest growing independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in the Middle East, as well as the operator of the Abu Sennan concession.
Tests were made on El Salmiya-2 well showed that it produces 3.530 barrels of oil per day. This is the 21st discovery for Kuwait Energy in Egypt since 2008.
