(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Al-Faisaliah city project is projected to offer 995.000 housing units and accommodate 6.5mn people by 2050.
Moreover, Prince Khalid, advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques proclaimed that the project is a huge extension of the holy city of Makkah and will reduce pressure on Makkah and Jeddah.
In addition, it will also occupy an area of 2.450 square kilometers on the western coast of Makkah and will contain of a government complex.
Meanwhile, the city will also have modern transport facilities involving train, metro, tram and buses and will be supervised by the Makkah Region Development Authority.
