(MENAFN) Bapco chairman and acting chief executive, Adel Almoayyed, stated that the Bahraini oil company has launched a USD13 million diesel-loading terminal, reported Gulf Daily News.
Almoayyed said that the terminal will have a daily capacity to handle 4 million liters of diesel, which will improve supplies and meet rising demand for diesel in the Kingdom.
The terminal, which will prop up industrial development and support the national economy, will provide services to various existing and future industries in Bahrain.
It is worth noting that at the current time, diesel consumption in Bahrain is at around 7,574 barrels per day (bpd), and Bapco produces over 85,000 bpd.
