Oman aims 3 percent economic growth

(MENAFN) Oman’s Ninth Five-Year Development Plan intends at achieving an annual economic growth of 3 percent per annum between 2016 and 2020.

Moreover, the priority areas for development through the plan period involve tourism, mining, aquaculture, logistics and transport.

Additionally, the plan will concentrate of more diversification to develop non-oil sectors and increase partnership between public and private sectors.

Another plan for the Sultanate is to make a pool of qualified Omani workforce and help entrepreneurship among youths, and will focus on social development.
