Oman deploys OMR16mn for small and medium projects

(MENAFN) Oman’s SME Development Fund raised OMR20mn in two tranches, out of its whole envisaged corpus of OMR100mn.Moreover, the fund also financed 160 projects by developing OMR15.8mn, which involves a funding size of OMR100.000 per project.In addition, the fund also supports SMEs through their nurturing program, covering accounting support, monitoring and free software support.On the other hand, eligible SMEs benefit from interest subsidies, which are offered by SMEF via a grant through the country’s offset program.
