(MENAFN) After a meeting between the Iranian and Omani Chambers of Commerce, the two countries decided to cofound a joint investment company, Gulf News reported

The new company will be specialized in prime economic ventures in both of the countries, according to the co-chairman of the Iranian Chamber.

The discussion, which held over 100 Iranian and Omani business men, focused on means and measures through which the two countries can expand trade and industrial and commercial ties.

“The Omani delegation was comprised of top managers of 57 major companies of that country and it was the largest economic delegation that has ever visited Iran,” the co-chairman of the Iran Chamber said.
