(MENAFN) Oman LNG announced it has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Health committing the company to provide cutting-edge medical technologies and infrastructure to a number of Ministry hospitals with a total value of USD4 million, Oman Observer reported.
Oman LNG said that they are very keen to support the sultana’s health sector and that they will start their investment with the delivery of critical pieces of equipment to Khoula Hospital, which will include medical beds and laparoscopies, which will be added to the USD1.48 million worth of equipment the company has contributed to the hospital, which is the Sultanate’s premier Accidents & Emergencies hospital.
“The delivery of the project demonstrates Oman LNG’s restless efforts of contributing to the country’s development especially in the push to provide people with quality healthcare through our partnership with Ministry of Health. Supporting the health sector has been always on our top priorities, so that will eventually make the medical centers and hospitals ready to support the country’s growth and aspirations,” Oman LNG’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer said.
