(MENAFN) Oman’s production of refined petroleum products surged 2.6 percent to 70.7 million barrels for the first ten months of the current year from 68.93 million barrels in 2014.
According to statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), products basically included the regular gasoline and the premium gasoline.
The production of the premium gasoline touched 19,187,800 barrels, reflecting a climb of 5.7 percent in comparison with the same period in last year, which reached 18,154,000.
Meanwhile, the yield of regular gasoline hit 1,767,000 barrels, deteriorating 41.7 percent compared to the 2014’s same timeframe, which touched 3,028,500 barrels of regular gasoline.
