(MENAFN) Mena Sohar 1 SPV, an investment holding company of the MENA Infrastructure Fund, will buy 20 percent of Oman’s Sohar Power’s total share capital, reported Times of Oman.
According to a stock market filing, Mena Sohar will acquire the share from 3 of the firm’s original shareholders, including WJ Towell, Zubair Corporation and Kahrabel.
The filing said that Kahrabel (a GDF SUEZ group firm) would still have a 35-percent stake in the company.
It is worth noting that the existing business of Sohar will not be affected as a result of the deal.
