Oman ‘Salalah’ port signs deal with Iran for mutual trade

(MENAFN) Port of Salalah, the biggest port in Oman, signed an agreement with Port and Maritime Authority (PMO) of Iran, which predicts close cooperation in many activities.

Accordingly, there are many services offering reliable global connectivity via Salalah and strong interest shown by all shipping lines to the growing Iranian economy.

The regional community views this agreement as a step towards attaching some of these ventures in Salalah providing career chances for the Omani talent.

Additionally, the deal also offers for leveraging the knowledge and experience of Port of Salalah to help modernize and increase the infrastructure of the two Iranian ports.
