(MENAFN) Oman Shipping Company (OSC) aims to start a container feeder service linking Salalah, Duqum, Sohar and Jebel Ali ports in the coming month.
Moreover, the firm’s multi-purpose vessel, which can hold both containers and general cargo, will be used for the proposed route, which can carry 350 containers.
There will be a request for equipment, project cargoes, supplies for construction projects and container services, as stated from Chief executive of the firm.
The firm plans to increase its fleet strength to 53 vessels amid this year, while it’s looking at chances in Duqm to offer ships for the proposed Duqum Refinery.
