Oman to build water project at 16.000 cubic meters

(MENAFN) Oman aims to construct a new water project with a capacity of 16.000 cubic meters of water per day in Khasab.

Additionally, the Sultanate has floated a tender to pre-qualify firms to participate in the tender.

Meanwhile, Oman is also developing independent water projects in Salalah, Shaqiyah and Duqm, which will add 52.8mn imperial gallons per day.

Moreover, demand for potable water in Oman is predicted to increase by 6 percent per annum in the coming 5 years.
